Ugh

Ugh

So I went to spend some quality time in my office last night. I went to grab the bodice pieces out of my pattern bag – they were already cut since this is the same pattern I used for my previous Anne in 2009 – only to discover they were not in the bag.

I grabbed my two versions of the underpinning patterns, figure they probably got stuck in one of those – and they were not in there. I grabbed my “bodice pieces” bag – mostly various incarnations of Simplicity 5006 – and found pattern pieces 2 and 3 in there. No 1, the front piece.

So I looked in my homeless pattern pieces bag… nothing. I went through all of those things again… nothing.

SO frustrating. I spent the entire evening looking for one pattern piece. I got frustrated and decided I really didn’t want to spend $10+ on ONE pattern piece (by rebuying it) so I used the front piece for the corset out of the other pattern to cut out my lining…. and then decided I really didn’t want to do that. I wanted the real pattern piece.

So either Chase is going to run get it for me at lunch or we’re going to run by the other place after dinner. Either way – UGH for having to pay full price for one pattern piece.
